Based on an original sofa designed by architect Jørn Utzon for his family home and created in collaboration with the Utzon family, this outdoor furniture collection communicates a deliberate design language through clear shapes, timeless materiality and architecturally inspired details. Available in low and high iterations, the solid teak stools reinterpret Jørn’s original design in a compact format that’s underpinned by a defined bullnose profile, visible stainless-steel hardware and butterfly-shaped legs. The versatile low stool can also be used as a side table.

Having grown up within one of the most prolific design families in the world, Mika Utzon Popov’s passion for artistic expression is underpinned by a multigenerational understanding of the creative experience. The multidisciplinary artist – son of visual artist Lin Utzon and grandson of Sydney Opera House creator Jørn Utzon – works in dialogue with spaces to create site-specific installations, designs and drawings in Australia and around the world.
